gooigiHello! Thanks you for writing for me. Treats are always welcome and appreciated. Although I only request fic for my main gift, I would be happy to receive art as a treat.
I try and note whenever I alter a DNW for a specific pairing/fandom, but if any prompts of mine seem to step over a DNW: assume that the prompt will override the DNW.
General Likes
Requests: Arthur/Beruka, Mozu/Takumi, Peri & Siegbert, Peri/Xander
As with all Fire Emblem games, I feel like Fates has a messy relationship with royalty and what it means for society in general. If you want to dig into this and have these characters navigate the reality of living in a society like this: I think that'd be awesome! If you want to handwave it away and go "well it is cool when the destined ruler has cool dragon powers", that is also fine by me.
Fics set in Birthright, Rev, Conquest, or some weird combination AU are all fine. Caveat with the Conquest continuity and Mozu/Takumi, since, well. Takumi canonically dies at the end of that one. So it'd need to be a little bit of an AU
Arthur/Beruka - They're a fun mix of comedic and sweet to me. I think their character contrast is absurd and I love it. I love how straightforward they are with each other, I love the clash of ideals, I love the assassin intrigue, I love how baffled Beruka is to be the object of his affections. Also, it makes Percy a Wyvern rider like his mom. I'd love to see how this odd couple settles into marriage, and how they make the differences in their personality work.
Mozu/Takumi - I've already written a ship manifesto for Mozu/Takumi, if you're curious about what I see in them! TL;DR: their support shows off numerous facets of both characters, it establishes that these characters spend a lot of time together aside from the supports we see and thus allows their relationship development to feel more natural, and they bring out the best in each other.
I'd love to see Mozu adjusting to royal life. Going from small village life -> fighting in the army -> you're a princess now... she's had an insane couple of years. How is she handling it? I'd also love to see her advocating for the common people using her new status! And of course, I'd want Takumi to be supporting her every step of the way.
Peri/Xander - I think Peri is a poorly written character, but I find it interesting to try and take her seriously and see what that'd mean for the world. A lot of people say any Peri S support is OOC for her partner, because obviously their blorbo would never support a raging murderer! I've seen this applied to Xander as well. But... we know that Xander has to support Peri. No matter what you choose as the player, she will always be his retainer.
Why the hell is that? Does he somehow not realize how comically evil she is? Was she assigned to him by his father? Does he genuinely admire her? Does he think he can fix her? Any attempt to explain their dynamic is fun to me, so feel free to get wild with it.
How do the people of Nohr react to this marriage? How do their comrades from the army feel? I'd love to see that explored. Is it scandalous? Is she the ideal Nohrian Queen?
(Just for Peri/Xander, and not any other pairing: I like both canon-complicit stuff where the Deeprealms are a thing and AUs where they don't put their newborn baby in a time oven. Go with whatever version you'd like! If we're including Deeprealms, I'd love for Siegbert to be deeply uncomfortable about his parents. I do not think he likes his mom, and I think he struggles with the implications of what this means for his relationship with his dad.)
Peri & Siegbert - I requested this under the assumption it'd be about a parent child dynamic, but if you have an idea for the two of them interacting while unrelated: go for it! Peri's existence is still going to serve as a challenge to Siegbert, since she isn't exactly the type of retainer he'd picture for his dad.
As a mother... I don't think Peri would hate her child. I think she would try and love him, in her own way. But I just don't think that love is going to be enough.
For either of my prompts involving Peri: I still don't want a grimdark ending, but you can feel free to go more bitter/open-ended then my DNW and likes usually suggest. A world where Peri is queen is not going to be a best ending!
DNW MODIFICATION:
- I do not want Arthur/Beruka or Mozu/Takumi to use the deeprealms during the war. It's fine if they exist in this setting - it'd even be fine if Siegbert was born in the deeprealms. But I just don't like the idea of these ships putting their babies into a time oven.
- Unrequested noncanon ships. (exceptions: Camilla/Selena, Charlotte/Leo, Silas/Jakob, Ryoma/Felicia, Ryoma/Scarlet, Hana/Sakura, Corrin/Flora, and Corrin/Kaze are all fine as background/supporting pairings. Additionally, you can pair Xander with any of his other canon options (aside from Sakura/Azura/Corrin) if you want to write a Siegbert & Peri fic that doesn't have her as the mom. )
- Major character death changed to "requested character death". So if you're writing a Peri/Xander fic, neither Peri nor Xander can die. But Corrin could.
- For unrequested poly: if you want to keep the worldbuilding about the King of Nohr having concubines, I'd be fine with that, just as long as you write both Xander and Peri being okay with it. (I figure that Peri would just kill any concubine she had a problem with.)
Fire Emblem Awakening
Requests: Brady & Lissa & Maribelle & Noire, Brady & Lissa & Owain & Maribelle, Brady/Noire, Lissa/Maribelle
As with all Fire Emblem games, I feel like Awakening has a messy relationship with royalty and what it means for society in general. If you want to dig into this and have these characters navigate the reality of living in a society like this: I think that'd be awesome! If you want to handwave it away and go "well it is cool when the destined ruler has a cool brand of the exalt", that is also fine by me.
For this game, I've decided to theme my requests around the Lissabelle Family Extended Universe. I really adore Lissa/Maribelle, and I would love to see fic about them as a family. I'd particularly love a fic where Lissa and Maribelle are middle aged and their children are teenagers/grown, but I would be open to any stage of development. I just want to see these two be happily married moms.
Feel free to make it canon compliant, feel free to make it a No Time Travel No Apocalypse AU. If you're going canon compliant, I'd love to see how weird it is to have met the grown up version of your child before the newborn. And how do the kids turn out different? Growing up in a stable kingdom would probably influence their personalities. Same goes for No Apocalypse AUs.
My usual headcanon is that Brady and Owain aren't biokids of Lissabelle, but instead war orphans that they found and adopted. But if you want to have them use magic to have kids/use a sperm donor, I'd also be fine with that. I usually see Brady as the older brother by 1-3 years.
Brady/Noire is a ship that is very special to me. They're sweet together. I love the childhood friends aspect of their romance, and I love how they bring out the best in each other. Plus, I think that after everything Noire went through, she deserves to have two good mother figures as compensation.
Noire's relationship with Tharja - however you choose to interpret it - can come up in the fic if it's being compared and contrasted with how she views Lissa and Maribelle. IMO, past!Tharja's actions are 100% child abuse. As for present!Tharja - if you want to take a more optimistic approach and have them repair that relationship, I'd be fine with that. But I would also be interested in a fic where Noire has decided to go no contact on Tharja. Or somewhere in between!
If you're going to tackle Noire's DID in a fic, I'll ask that you a) treat the topic with respect and b) whenever possible, not use modern language. I don't think they'd have the specific term "dissociative identity disorder" in Ylisse. Not putting this as a firm DNW, because sometimes your only options are to use modern terminology or to use offensive language. And if you find yourself in that situation, I'd rather you use the modern terminology. (Also, if you want to give Noire's alter a name, I think that'd be nice! I personally go with Bianca, but feel free to pick another one.) Don't feel pressure to include this in your fic, though - I wouldn't want a fic focused exclusively on it anyway.

(If you want a canon father for Noire - Virion, Vaike, and Libra all have really good conversations with Noire in the Future Past DLC. I think they'd be fun to have as Noire's dad. Or you can pick your own!)

- In-universe documents! Diary entries, letters, emails, news articles, academic papers, clickbait social media posts, that sort of thing.
- Worldbuilding. Especially for things that the creator didn't entirely think through/don't really make any sense - I like when a fic goes "okay, I'll take it at face value that [X] is true. How does this impact the life of these characters/what are the unintended consequences?"
- Canon divergence/for want of a nail.
- Happy and hopeful endings. I'm fine if the road is bumpy getting there, but I'd prefer for it to end on a positive note.
- 5 +1 / fics where we see variations on a theme, particularly used to show the growth of a character or a dynamic.
- Character studies.
- Characters having feelings about the fact they're developing a crush/falling in love. Does it terrify them? Are they more content then they've ever been before? Are they barely able to process that it's even happening? I love to see it all explored!
- Slice-of-life and domestic fics. I like finding the beauty in an ordinary moment
- Explicit sexual content
- Bleak/hopeless endings
- Incest
- Age gap relationships involving minors (a 16/18 pairing or a 32/45 pairing are both fine, 16/25 would not be fine)

- On-Screen Abuse (discussion of past canon abuse = OK)
